Want to find others in our community that share some of your interests? Want to choose with whom you develop relationships? Now you can very easily!

We have begun "Community Weaver", our intentional network of sharing interests with others in our community. To participate you only need to want to share your interests with others, to "step up to the plate" and to make your email address available to those who inquire about interests that you share. You do not need to be a member of Living Water Unity (for example, you might be participating only in Arvada Spiritual Cinema, which meets at the church), you do not need to have any "expertise" in your areas of interest. You choose with whom to share your time and your interests.

Here's how it works:

• Register your interests by selecting the "Register" link above.  This will open an email message addressed to livingwaterunity@comcast.net with the Subject line "Community Weaver Registration". Include your name, address and phone number to allow our database administrator to update our database with current information.  Your address and phone number will NOT be released to anyone, it is only to ensure that we have current contact information for you.
• State your interests in the body of the email, as many as you wish, of those things that you would like to share with others. These might include dog walking, working out, going to the movies, learning/speaking Italian, discussing the latest discoveries of astronomy or particle physics, philosophical issues or approaches, going to football games, whatever.  Your information will be updated with those listed interests. They can be changed at any time, simply come back to this page, select "Register" and fill in the appropriate changes (again verifying your then-current address and phone information).
• This registration or re-registration will immediately stimulate an inquiry for those interests listed by others in the community. The result of this inquiry will be a list of people that share interests with you; if you have five different interests "registered", a list of eight people may come up, some of which may share one particular interest while others may uniquely share some interests that you registered. This list of possible respondents will NOT be made available to you, for reasons of confidentiality that you'll appreciate in a moment. But those on the list will be sent an "inquiry" email stating that you have expressed one or more interests shared with them. Those emailed will also not know who else receives this same email -- i.e. all of their addresses are placed in the Blind CC: address block of the email.
• The recipient of the inquiry email will see the name of the inquirer and the inquirer's email address in the "To:" address block -- not their phone number or their address (for reasons of confidentiality). The recipient can then "reply all" to the inquiry email (a "reply" will only send the response to the sender -- our database administrator -- not the inquirer). All others listed in the Blind CC: address block will NOT receive your response. If the recipient chooses not to respond to the inquiry email, for whatever reason (he doesn't know who the inquirer is, or doesn't have time right now to develop any other relationships, etc, etc,), then "no harm, no foul". But if the recipient wants to explore further what interests are shared, she can reveal whatever about herself she is comfortable with in the reply email.  In responding the recipient is revealing her email address only if that is what she chooses.
• This process is designed to maintain the maximum of confidentiality of each person's information, revealing only one's email address and what other information is chosen for any particular situation by each participant.  In today's cautious social environment, it is perfectly acceptable to state that you are not comfortable with a potential relationship at whatever stage that discomfort arises. Each participant in Community Weaver "signs on" with the understanding that either party may choose to "drop out" of any developing relationship with no questions asked and no reason necessary. Develop your reliance upon your Inner Guide to let you know whether a relationship deserves to be pursued or not. Developing this ability will, by itself, justify your participation in Community Weaver.
• At any time you may inquire for another interest that you would like to explore. This will also update your list of interests so that if others later inquire about that interest, you'll be notified.
• To repeat, but from a "registrant'" perspective: If someone registers an interest that you have registered to share, you'll receive an email introducing that person with both their email and our database administrator's email address "exposed". The particular shared interest will not be shown -- this will allow each of you to find out the various interest that you share, those registered and those not. If you want to explore the interests that are shared, "reply all" and state your name, what interests you might want to share, etc. Proceed with the development of the relationship as your inspiration guides you.
