Setting Your Heart on Fire

Cushnir tells us that each invitation to live in love’s presence will require patience and practice and that we can anticipate some “growing pains” in the process. He suggests that the Seven Invitations, embraced together, are the spiritual path of an entire lifetime and cautions us to not to try to go too fast, try too hard, or demand more of ourselves than necessary.

As we embark on this seven-week journey together, let us hold each other in the sacred space of all that we are and all that we can become. Accepting these Seven Invitations, may each of us become stronger, wiser, and kinder as we liberate our lives by calling forth the highest and best that is within us.

Each week, beginning January 11, 2004, the Sunday talk will explore each of the seven invitations  Either as a member of an in-home study group, or on your own, we hope you will find our weekly theme questions both thoughtful and provocative.

Scheduled to Begin:  January 11, 2004, with the Sunday lesson -- followed by in-home discussion groups to meet weekly for the duration of the class.  Call the church to find the location and schedule for individual study groups.
