1. Springfest retreat will be held March 19, 2005.  It will include many Unity Churches in the area.  Cost will be $50.00 per person.  Child care will be $25.  This will include lunch and a continental breakfast.  Speakers will be Steve Brody, Sky St. John and Tom Thorpe.  There is a possibility that attendees will receive CEP credit for the workshops.  We will insert this in our tithe rotation one time to help cover expenses for the retreat.

2. Facility Update – 7735 Wadsworth Pkwy.:

  1. Responsibility for HVAC:  We have received a proposal from Dax that we pay a maximum of $500 for the year, provide for repair cost and maintenance of approximately $200 every six months.
  2. $12,000 will be retained as a security deposit and will be returned 60 days after termination of the lease.  We could use this money as part of the down payment on purchase of a new facility.  There are specific stipulations regarding what would cause us to lose that deposit.
  3. Regulations that need to be changed:  Selling used materials.  We will want to establish traffic with a metaphysical book store.  Linda Ridge has about 300 titles at this time.  We will also want to sell jewelry and gift items.  Restrictions on serving food will need to be changed to allow for potlucks and bake sales.  DR will write a letter.
  4. A completed lease should be available tomorrow.  With the landlord’s approval, the lease can be signed.
