                                    Clarence Johnsen                   (CJ)

1)      DR called meeting to order at 12:33 p.m. with the Opening Prayer.

2)      Review of minutes of last Board meeting by KJ: The minutes were read as submitted.  Motion to accept the minutes by DR, second by CJ.

3)      Treasurer’s Report presented by DC: Motion to approve by CJ, second by PS.

4)      Board contribution to newsletter: Topic will be discussed by E-mail.

5)      Marketing ideas:

6)      Update on state Sales Tax/Non-profit exemption License – CJ: CJ and DR will schedule a time to put together information to complete the forms.

7)      Nominations for Brian and JoDee’s replacement: PS will approach recommended candidate.

8)      Update – Video system lease - DR: Sue Thompson will lease the system to us for 5 years at $161 per month.  It’s possible the system will be in place by the end of August.

9)      Update – Finishing touches for Sunday School room: We will revisit the issue in September.

10)  Review fund raising efforts for the fall: We still plan food sales at 2 Adams County Fairgrounds events and hope to have our second Night at the Improv. in September.  We will split concert proceeds with Gene Wall Cole.

11)  Tithe candidates for May: "Net titheable revenues" is $425, 60% of which goes to Project Angel Heart -- $255, 40% of which goes to Unity of India -- $170. That's calculated as the revenue of $12,844 less $250 for our contribution to the Expansion grant, less $276 for the cost of goods sold at the Adams County Fairgrounds project, less $63 for bookstore cost of goods sold less $8000 building fund (we transferred $800 to the Village Bank project in our Money Market Account, but since that has not yet been disbursed, it shouldn't be shown as paid yet).

12)  Volunteer opportunities with our tithe recipients - KJ: The Women’s Group has made 200 more yellow ribbons for Light for Life.  They will make 400 paper figures to be used as a graphic illustration of suicide rates at Light for Life’s upcoming conference. LFL is also looking for additional volunteers for the conference.  KJ will ask for volunteers at the service on 7/7.

13)  Motion to adjourn by KJ, second by DC.  The next meeting will be July 28th.
