Living
Water Unity's Sunday School program is designed to
help our children discover the beauty and grandeur that lies within each of
them. They are given the opportunity to see themselves as a holy
child of God, limited only by their imagination, capable of loving in every
situation, expressing the Christ in everything they do. Each child is
encouraged to hold his or her Self in high esteem, knowing each life experience
is a Divine lesson to be learned and be open to the lesson being taught.
The Uniteens
(ages 11-14) are also exploring the curriculum "In the Forest of
Finding Out". The Uniteens are more focused on examining their own answers
to these frequently asked questions and comparing them with Mary-Alice
Jafolla's answers from the book The Simple Truth.
This group will also participate in the regional Uniteens activities
sponsored by the Association of Unity Churches and by UnityColorado. Joan
and Katy are our UniTeens sponsors.
The Unikids (ages 6-10) are blessed by Pam,
Ginger and Tas. They are continuing the curriculum "In the Forest of Finding
Out" which is based on the classic book The Simple Truth. It explores
frequently asked questions about Unity's teachings and beliefs.
What a Wonderful World, the curriculum for our 3-5 year olds (the
UniTykes), will teach our younger Youth Ed students the Unity principles in ways
they can understand and put them to use. Our Wonderful World
teachers, Jason and Sondra, are delighted to offer our younger children loving
guidance.
Our child care program for toddlers through age 2 provides an experience in which
children can learn to play and socialize in a lovingly supervised environment.
Katelyn is our UniTots care-giver.
The Youth will all participate in a service
project where we adopt a family in need for Christmas to buy needed items and
gifts. The Youth will also be expressing Spirit through a Christmas play in
December.
The Youth Education Teachers will be going on a
retreat in October to team build and have some fun.
